Accredited Exercise Physiologists are health professionals who specialise in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic disease, pain and injuries.

At Solutions for Wellbeing, Kiama, our Exercise Physiology services have use of our extensive range of rehabilitation, fitness and clinical Pilates equipment to give you the best exercise program design for sustained recovery and optimum health.

 

All individual sessions and classes run by our experienced Exercise Physiologists incorporate best practice methodology and research for targeted rehabilitation and injury management.

WHAT HAPPENS AT MY EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY CONSULTATION?

If you have a specific pain or injury, we will ask you to bring information from your treating practitioner or suggest you see a Solutions for Wellbeing Physiotherapist first to assess you and make recommendations on your recovery.

Regardless of your problem, your Exercise Physiologist will start with an assessment. They will talk through your goals and what you are hoping to achieve and provide an assessment specific to your condition and goals before beginning any recommended treatment. 

 

CAN I CLAIM MY EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY CONSULTATION?

Rebates may be available for Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics and under Medicare (enhanced care plans), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), WorkCover, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), motor vehicle accidents and most private health insurance providers.
