WHAT HAPPENS AT MY EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY CONSULTATION?
If you have a specific pain or injury, we will ask you to bring information from your treating practitioner or suggest you see a Solutions for Wellbeing Physiotherapist first to assess you and make recommendations on your recovery.
Regardless of your problem, your Exercise Physiologist will start with an assessment. They will talk through your goals and what you are hoping to achieve and provide an assessment specific to your condition and goals before beginning any recommended treatment.
Mat Class programs are for those who want to achieve and maintain their strength and flexibility in a low impact environment. Programs involve initial consultation/s with an exercise physiologist to evaluate your body for over and under active muscles, postural and breathing habits, flexibility, balance, tension and strength with follow up shared or individual consultations. You’ll feel your muscle habits change, creating improved posture, flexibility, strength and reducing tension.
