Telehealth is the use of live on-line video or audio consultations via computers, phones and tablets.
This service allows you to access health care services remotely and enables you to continue to manage your acute pain, recovery, rehabilitation or chronic pain or condition while keeping safe and well at home. Research has shown that rehabilitation outcomes can, in fact, be better through online consultation, due to the empowering nature of the system.
Solutions for Wellbeing use Physitrack/PhysiApp, a safe and secure, end to end encrypted service to keep consultations private and confidential. Consultations will not be recorded unless we have requested to record your consultation and you have given us permission to do so.
Solutions for Wellbeing are able to provide Telehealth services to the following -
Private patients – an upfront payment is required prior to the start of your appointment
Private patients claiming a health fund rebate – you need to check that your health fund covers Telehealth, pay the full price then claim the rebate back from your health fund – an upfront payment is required prior to the start of your appointment
Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP)
Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA)
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - if you are self managed, you will need to make an upfront payment prior to your appointment
