Kate is a Physiotherapist, an Exercise and Sports Scientist and a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and is the owner of Solutions for Wellbeing in Kiama, NSW.
Kate is a keen sports fan and loves to participate in all sports and activities. Kate played Rugby Union at club level, Oz Tag and Touch Football.
Kate is passionate about health and fitness and believes everyone has the ability to improve their health, fitness and well being wherever they are on the sickness-wellness-fitness continuum.
Kate's qualifications include - Master of Physiotherapy (University of Sydney, NSW), Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Australian Catholic University, NSW) and Level 1 Crossfit Trainer Certificate (Crossfit Inc USA).
Heidi has worked in public hospitals and private practice in both Australia and the UK. She has many years experience in orthopaedic, sports and general practice. She has done further training in women’s health. She has also done courses in dry needling and clinical Pilates.
Heidi enjoys keeping fit and has a background as a triathlete and runner.
Heidi keeps up to date with the latest research and regularly attends professional development courses and so is able to provide high quality, evidence based assessment and treatment. Heidi’s commitment to the importance of being physically active for well being has also led her to complete a PhD in health education, an area in which she is involved in teaching and research.
Heidi's qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) Honours (University of Sydney), NSW, Master of Public Health, University of Sydney, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Health Education, University of Sydney NSW.
Valerie has been practicing physiotherapy for over a decade both in Australia and in the United States of America. She is also qualified in her native country, Canada.
Valerie is an active member of the Gerringong Surf Club as a patrol member and Nippers water safety with multiple Captain Christie Ocean Classic swims. Her background includes competitive rhythmic gymnastics, dance, choral music, club- and national university-level Rugby Union and she enjoys running, including completing the Kiama Coastal classic and the Sydney City 2 Surf.
Valerie's qualifications include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (Shenandoah University, Virginia, USA), and Bachelor of Science with Honours Major in Human Kinetics (University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
